Les Ames signed letter arranging for the 3 played who scored 100 centuries to meet for press photo, which is included Odd creases to letter otherwise in good condition as shown in images Ames was England's wicket keeper from 1931 to 1939, Playing for Kent, he was an integral part of their Championship side from 1927 to the first match of 1951, when ill health (back problems) brought his career to an end. He scored 37,248 runs, average 43.51, made 102 hundreds, and passed 1,000 runs in a season seventeen times, going on to 3,000 once and 2,000 on five seperate occasions. He was responsible for 1,121 dismissals, 1,000 whilst keeping wicket. His total of 418 stumpings is a record.
