This rare and one-off item of Real Madrid memorabilia is a signed commemorative lithograph, celebrating the success of Santiago Bernabéu Yeste. It is framed in its original brushed gold surround with double mounts and measures an impressive 71cm x 88cm This is an impressive limited edition item of signed Real Madrid memorabilia.
Bernabéu Yeste was one of the single most important men in Real Madrid's history. He is generally considered the one to whom much of the credit can be given for transforming Real Madrid from the second most successful club in Madrid into the most successful in Spain, and one of the most successful in Europe. The team's current stadium is named in his honour,. The Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. He was the club's President between September 1943 and June 1978. This rare item is signed by twelve players from the 1960’s including; Ferenc Puskás, Di Stéfano, Francisco Gento and 9 others players from the legendary era. Puskás and Di Stefano are two of only three players to have scored a hat-trick in a European Cup or Champions League Final. Puskás repeated the feat in the 1962 European Cup Final. It is signed by the artist, Jose Palomares and is unique out of the 100 produced as 12 players have signed with the majority only having 3 signatures. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
