England v India at Subrata

Cricket collectables from the recent Test Series will be available on our website next week we have several presentation sets from the series and a good supply of signed tour itineraries, autographs, and programmes.

It was great to see India back on form in the first Twenty20 at the Roy Sahara Stadium although disappointing for England that they won by 5 wickets.

Opener Alex Hales(Notts) set the pace with his 50 scored off 35 balls before his wicket was taken by left arm spinner Yuvraj Singh, this escalated when Luke Wright and leading Twenty20 batsman Captain Eoin Morgan were dismissed in the space of 2 overs both caught Rahane bowed Singh who ended up with 3 very valuable wickets for 19 runs.

England were never able to regain momentum, India impressed in the field, they were so much better than in the tests.

England bowling was below par; Jade Dernbach (Surrey)delivering 3 wides in his first over amongst the 10 conceded during the match, Bresnan was top England bowler with 2/26

The top Indian scorer was Singh on 38 off 21 deliveries caught by Meaker(Surrey) bowled Wright(Leic) as a best score that more or less tells the story.

Cricket memorabilia from the current Twenty20 is in demand and a good assortment should be available.

The 2nd and last match of the series should make great viewing in Mumbai tomorrow.
