India v England ICC cricket memorabilia

It looks as though England may retain top ICC one day rankings after a good start in the first ODI against India.

With India evens and England 8/11 on the bookies are taking no chances and need to be more generous with their odds, as I write this betting has been suspended? However India are looking in with a chanceĀ  at 138/3 with the openers Rahane and Gambhir putting on 97 runs averaging around one run per ball.

This series will provide lots of opportunities for some good cricket memorabilia

England Captain Alastair Cook and Iain Bell put on an impressive opening stand of 158 before Bells wicket was taken by Ajinkya Rahane, ending his 85 run innings.

Irishman Eoin Morgan scored 41 off 38 balls before departing due to a tremendous catch by bowler Ashok Dinda, Pieterson scored 44 before being caught off Dinda, tailenders Patel and Kieswetter added another useful 44 runs.

It will be interesting to note the rule changes for the pace bowlers two bouncers allowed per over plus the field restricted to four players outside the fielding circle instead of five in the outfield.
